Our nucs are from a South Alabama producer and come with 5 frames all with mostly drawn comb from spring splits from our over-wintered stocks. Each nuc will have a mated Italian queen. Nucs are strong with at least one frame of brood from the queen that is present. In addition, there will be at least one full frame of honey, pollen stores, and some space open for the queen to continue laying. The nuc will be ready to place in your full-size hive body so the brood nest can continue to expand.
Our experience with the queens in these nucs has been that they are very prolific and docile.
Nucs will be available for pickup in late April.

Nucs are popular because they provide an highest chance of making it through the first winter while Packages tend to have a lower chance of success.
The full purchase price is required at time of purchase. If you decide you do not want the nuc you purchased, we will refund 80% of your purchase price.
