Italian Queens
We raise our own queens from locally proven stock. Our breeders are selected for their ability to produce colonies that are docile, demonstrate a steady population buildup in the Spring, low swarming tendency, good honey production, and over-wintering ability. They are mated using queen castles then moved to nucs to continue their buildup.
